After years of wanting a refrigerator for the garage and feeling like we NEED a refrigerator for the garage, I got one yesterday! This one was a "steal". It is one year old, had a minor dent from a car and belonged to the kids orthodontist, Dr. Bo. My friend and his employee, Alana, was over Friday night. As I went to pull something out of the freezer, I complained about how it was so full I couldn't find anything and how I wished I had one for the garage. She said, "Dr. Bo has one he wants to sell. It's only a year old, but he dented it with his car so his wife is making him get a new one." I said that I definitely wanted it, so she and he began texting and within five minutes, it was arranged that I could come pick it up on Saturday :) The kids and I had previously made plans to clean the garage on Saturday because they had been leaving things out of place for months, it was a disaster and we decided we'd clean it while Keith was away. I also wanted the new appliance in place beforeKeith came home so he couldn't tell me that I couldn't have it. So, I worked ALL day (the first two hours with the kids, the rest of the day on my own), cleaning, straightening and organizing and finding the perfect spot for our new friend. Then, two of my nice strong neighbors helped me by loaning a truck and their strength to accompany me over to get it and then unload it into the garage. Keith just got home a little while ago and loves it, approves of my decision and thinks the garage looks awesome! Yay!
