Summer is here, it's 100 degrees. Our backyard is well shaded in the afternoon, so we got the waterslide out this afternoon. Actually, it is a new one. Our previous one had a hole and since they've come out with new features (2 slides, one in a tunnel with a pool at the bottom), we suprised the kids by having this one ready to go when they got home from school. All children within a one mile radius have found their way into our backyard! But, they are having fun, blowing off all that pent up energy from not going out to recess due to the hot weather (which I think is absurd, they'd be just fine for 20 minutes...but that's another story), wearing themselves out and staying cool all at once.
