Friday was the last day of school, so we celebrated with dinner out at the Melting Pot. It's our go-to place lately, but the kids weren't invited to my birthday celebration, so they were really excited to eat there last night.
The top photo is us driving down our street on the way home and their heads were out the sunroof...guess they like that wind in the hair feeling.
Both kids finished the school year with a bang, bringing home perfect report cards. Not A's, like most normal school districts, but 3's here in Wake County, NC. Our grading scale is a range of 1's to 3's. We are proud of them. We have one week to cut loose, lay back, relax and gear up for another school year. We will do some boating, have a trip planned to Wrightsville Beach, I'm sure we will fit in a sleepover or two and Kendall and I have plans to see the American Girl movie that comes out this week.
