Keith and I left after church and lunch yesterday and drove to Charlotte for a concert! Brown-Forman was involved in the Brothers Of Summer (or is it brothers of the sun?) concert stop in Charlotte so we were offered tickets. It was double the fun with both Tim McGraw and Kenny Chesney performing in the Carolina Panther's Stadium! They both put on a great show and surprisingly, last year's American Idol, Scotty McCreary came out to do a song with Tim McGraw. I love Scotty! The seats were good, the company was good- got to hang out with Keith's distributor guys and their girlfriends, who were very sweet, as well as the Red Bull rep...we drove through a storm very near Charlotte that, thankfully, cooled things off from the upper 90's to the mid 80's before the music began, and the music was so fun! I initially thought driving 2 hours on a Sunday afternoon to go to a concert for 3 hours and then drive 2 hours back home sounded insane (and getting into bed at 1am is living on the edge as it is- for me anyway), but it was so fun to be on a date with my hubby that it was absolutely worth it :) Poor Keith had to get up at 5:30 for a 7am flight to Louisville to work all week, so I got off pretty easy, being that I am not working this week at all.
We took this photo ourselves on my new iphone 4s. I am not used to having a flash on my phone and I am noticing how I look as white as a ghost, especially next to Keith (aka Mr. Tan Man). I
do have color, it just doesn't seem apparent here. Oh, well, you can call me ghost Wendy!!!
