Today was the 7th grade awards ceremony where Justin received an academic excellence award from his technology teacher! It was so fun to see all the 7th graders in the same room, many whom we've known for the length of time we've lived here. My how they've grown! Some have started a growth spurt, some have not, so among the boys, there were those who looked like boys while others looked like men. Some sitting next to one another looked years apart in age. Very interesting to see.
Sadly, the kids have been watching movies in school for about a week rather than learning. So, when Justin asked if he could come home after the ceremony, I didn't hesitate. He learned more cleaning his room and playing guitar than he would have watching another movie.
One more day, then bring on summer!!!!!
