I'm looking out my window right now to big, giant snowflakes! I'm also praying Keith will arrive home soon (and safely). Of all things, he was in Bryson City this morning, waking up to six inches of snow but deciding to drive home anyway as the forcast there was for a foot or more total snowfall. We've got winter weather in the mid atlantic area today through tomorrow! School is letting out an hour early in anticipation of messy roads. Keith has seen more than a dozen people in ditches and on guardrails during his drive, (some of them right in front of him). His travels from Bryson City should've been five hours total, but at four hours on the road, he hadn't even made it to Asheville yet- yikes!
I can just imagine the kids looking out their windows right now, getting so excited...it's the last day of school before the Christmas break, so a day full of much fun and little work. Then, the day gets shortened by the anticipation of snow. Then, it starts snowing while they are at school. I would be excited too. I am excited. After growing up in Florida, any snow is enough snow for me to enjoy and play in. Let it snow!!
