hot tea by the Christmas tree (thanks granny & pappy)

Both kids are home sick from school today. Justin had a fever last night; Kendall woke up vomiting in the night (always a fun treat). Thankfully, both kids woke up fever and vomit free, but are home recouping so that they can be healthy for the holidays. The mailman brought a package from Arizona today. Granny had sent a note to both kids letting them know that when the package arrived, they were to open their gifts right away, which the kids were thrilled to oblige :) In their packages were these adorable mugs, personalized for the kids. They now have their very own mugs! Also included were hot cocoa and gingerbread tea. The kids were finishing up lunch when the package came and were very excited to try them out, so I got the mugs washed and made them each a cup of gingerbread tea. They loved it and what a perfect treat to receive on a day when you are under the weather. Thanks, Granny and Pappy!
