For the second year in a row, Kendall ran a 5K! Our neighborhood race to raise money for the swim team was today. The kids went to bed last night unsure of whether they'd run it or not, but two of Kendall's friends were going meet up with her here to run it together. I was volunteering as a course guide in front of our house, directing runners. Kendall's friends showed up so she laced up her sneakers and ran like the wind! After they completed the race, she had a drink and snack and headed to her last soccer game of the season. I'm asking myself, are her legs not about to fall off of her? Isn't she tired? Nope, she then brought a couple of girls home to play wii sports challenge and they are upstairs "sawing logs", jumping over logs and playing soccer. Between soccer and the wii, we stopped off at an event some of my neighbors are participating in today for the Avon Walk For Breast Cancer where the girls had their faces painted, played a couple of games, did a little shopping and toured a fire truck. My little girl is keeping me hopping today (those of you who know Kendall can understand this, am I right??).
