The siblings preparing to eat Thanksgiving Dinner

Mom W., me and Pammy just before dinner

The Wooleries planned a wonderful Christmas gift for all the girls. Friday, we headed to a day spa located in an old house in downtown Troy. The younger girls were treated to an "all about me" experience- painting of the toes and fingernails with sparkled top coats and then had their hair sprayed with glitter spray. It was very glamorous. Us older gals each got a spa pedicure which was wonderful as well!

Kendall and Heather waiting for their turn. They wrote stories together all weekend and occupied themselves with writing while the others got their pedicures.

Marsha and Mom soaking their feet and having coffee.

Miss Kendall having her feet done!

Pretty little girl feet getting polished... do you think they are as gorgeous as her moms?

The finished products. Yes, I know mine are the prettiest, but lets not hurt feelings :-)

Okay, this was a sad day! Saturday, we settled in to watch the big rivalry between FSU and UF. We didn't totally expect to win, but we didn't expect it to be this bad either. This is the reaction on the faces of Keith and Justin during the first quarter. It didn't get any better from here. UF managed to make FSU look SO bad. They are good! There's always next year.
Early on in the disaster.

Over the weekend, we noticed a racoon in the backyard. It wandered around at various times of the day and showed no fear in approaching the back door when we got his attention. Keith's dad set a humane trap but was unable to lure him in. We won't share his fate on this blog, but it was discovered due to internet research and talking with local "experts" that the fella had distemper and was on his deathbed.

See him come right up to the backdoor?
We had a lovely time in Ohio for Thanksgiving. It was good to see everyone and we had a good mis-mash of activity that passed the time all too quickly. Our drive home was excruciating as traffic was extremly heavy and added on an additional three hours to our Sunday drive home. Instead of arriving around 8, it was closer to midnight and we got treated to rain the entire way!
It was worth the pain to be with family though! Happy Thanksgiving!
