When Keith's parents and Kendall are in the same house (whether here or in Ohio), Kendall finds them while they are still in bed. It has happened since Kendall could walk and climb into a bed, she is drawn like a magnet. The look on her face when we catch her there is unmistakable: she is made to feel so special in betweeen grandma and grandpa, welcomed and adored. And, they play " my father owns a grocery store". It's tradition!! "My father owns a grocery store and in it he sells something that begins with the letter...." and the guessing game begins. When she was three, and rarely knew the right letter that things begin with, they guessed and didn't get impatient when they were guessing for a "b" item, that ended up being "potatoes". On their first morning here, guess where we found her at 8am sharp? Snuggled in between grandma and grandpa, and here is the photo to prove it!
