On the day we decorated our tree, I sent Keith out with the agreement that he would be purchasing 15 strands of white lights to replace those strands that no longer worked. He headed off to Lowes as a happy man, sent on his mission (like any other man, right?). He came back reporting, "I have something in my trunk I need you to come see", translates to "impusle buy, am I in trouble?". In his trunk, was a gorgeous impulse buy! A 9 foot tree, prelit and lightly laced with pinecones and red berries to replace our perfectly fine 7.5 foot tree. With our ceilings reaching ten feet, this new tree nicely complements our family room and we were happy to forgive him of this brilliant impulse buy. We had to use our barstools to decorate the top one third. It looks gorgeous.
