Heading To Ohio

We are supposed to be leaving for Ohio in less than two hours and I haven't started packing yet!
I was running a couple of errands this morning when Kendall's teacher called to say she wasn't feeling well. No big suprise, she almost always gets sick when we are going to be traveling. In February, it was a full blown case of the FLU. So, I took her in to the doctor to rule out strep (it's been going around the classroom this week) or an ear infection (she woke up complaining of a "sore ear"). All turned out well and she doesn't appear to be feeling badly at all, though she is resting. So, I have been out all day and not here to wash the load of laundry that needed washing or start packing for the kids and myself. Not to mention cleaning the house, which I always like to do before leaving town...I love coming home to a clean house rather than a dusty one with crumbs on the floor. Oh well, it'll be here when we return!
