i rested today, because i could and because i knew i should. i skipped the parties tonight. keith took the kids to the "night of lights" where we all light luminaries, meet at the pool parking lot for hot cocoa and then trolley ride through the 'hood to look at the lights. then, our neighbors had an 80's dance party in their basement, so keith and the kids went to that for a short while.
i had rested enough to clean the dishes and straighten up the pantry while they were gone and then rest some more. i'm beginning to feel myself again. a horrible stomach bug is traveling up and down the street this week but we are determined to avoid getting it! half of justin's class came down with it...the half that all live within six houses of us, that we have mingled with for the past many days!
my inlaws are due here monday and for one year, we'd like to avoid them getting sick while here for Christmas (usually due to us). we'll keep you posted on; "as the germs turn".
