It's Labor Day and it feels like early fall!

Happy Labor Day! Where has time gone? September already, wow. After several days of very humid air, it feels like fall here in NC. It is in the 80's with low humidity and a breeze. With a break in the rain, our deck has dried and we were back out enjoying it with neighbors last night. Bowden enjoys spending time out there with us as well. Both kids were involved in sleepovers since it was a long weekend. We ended up playing euchre with Julie and Dave (a card game not everyone knows how to play, so it's real special when you find people to play it with) and without intending to do so, we played til 1:30 in the morning!! Bowden almost put himself to bed and if we gave him a couple more months to acclimate to his new home, I bed he would if we tried keeping him up that late again. It was fun yet exhausting after not sleeping much over the past week, but when we got into bed, we slept like babies (or baby puppies). Happy September everyone, hope you've had a wonderful weekend.
