Hannah brought nothing but pleasant winds and welcome rain for us last night and the first part of today. It was a wonderful Saturday to hunker down and read and relax. The weather cleared off by 1pm and the sun returned. It also got hot and humid! We could've had Kendall's party today, but who knew it would clear off that quickly? It's going to be a nice day tomorrow and so we will go with our backup plan for Kendall's party then.
Bowden had his first playdate today. A friend down the road stopped by with their schnoodle (shih tzu/poodle mix) who is about a year old and weighs eight pounds. She and Bowden romped and played for about 20 minutes and had a blast. He is worn out. But, they played very nicely together and were happy to have found someone of near equal size to wrestle with.
We are now happily settling down to some bean burritos and some Florida State Football- which has been weather delayed twice so far. But, we got to see FSU score a touchdown, which of course made Keith a very happy camper!
We will post some details and photos from Miss Kendall's part tomorrow evening. Still can't believe my princess is going to be EIGHT years old!!
