Hunkering Down For Hannah

Well, it seems all of the Raleigh-Durham area will come to a halt tomorrow in anticipation of the tropical system called "Hannah" that is due to slide through between tomorrow and Saturday evening. Football is cancelled for Saturday, as is cheerleading (opening day no less!). Kendall's birthday party was supposed to be Saturday with a waterslide theme and it looks like that'll be postponed. The school even moved the Fall Carnival up one day, so that it took place this evening. We've stocked up on batteries, candles, water and bread, so I guess we're as ready as we can be. They tell us we may well lose power but I don't believe it. If we don't use our supplies for Hannah, looks like we'll get another shot with Ike coming in behind soon after, that one is looking to be a whopper of a storm. We will be sure to keep you posted. 'Least we can't say we are lacking in the rain department these days!
