After a grueling five nights averaging 2-3 hours of total sleep per night, Bowden slept through the night last night! Wooo-hooo!!! I wasn't sure it was going to happen, but am so thankful it did. Keith got him a much smaller crate yesterday after hearing that puppies like a very small, cozy place to sleep that helps them feel secure, we were using a neighbors crate for their medium sized dog, apparently too big...we hoped this was the answer. Maybe it was? I woke several times to listen for him (not intentionally, but out of expectation), but due to the quiet, was able to go right back to sleep. I feel like a million bucks compared to the last several days.
The kids each had a friend sleep over as well (call me crazy), but everyone rested well and all except Bowden and myself are still sleeping. We are off to church in a couple of hours. I feel confident I will stay awake during the service, something that might not've happened yesterday.
