Checking out the houseWe have added a new member to our family. A baby Yorkiepoo (toy poodle and yorkie mix), he is eight weeks old and his name is Bowden (as in Bobby Bowden-greatest college football coach of all time!!). I drove to Charlotte today to pick him out, he was one of four boys in a litter. I was on the road six hours total, but it was worth it. He is mostly black with some tan on the paws and at the eyebrow and then beige around the mouth and chest. He hasn't whined or barked yet, has just been happily following us around, taking small naps and cuddling. He has met at least 15 human neighbors and three new canine friends and took a trip to petsmart with us to pick out his food and water dishes, leash, collar and a couple of toys. I sure hope he's as tired as I am when it's bedtime and that he sleeps well! I am so happy to have this new member of our family here with us (as he licks my toes) and I know Keith, Justin and Kendall feel the same way. The kids have waited a L-O-N-G time for a dog. What would an introduction be without photos? So, here you go...
