Cheers to a great weekend!

I had the most wonderful evening with my sweet husband last night and it just made my weekend. As mentioned earlier, both kids were to be sleeping away from home, so we went out for a quiet dinner, just the two of us. We talked and talked, about everything under the sun. We must not have done that for awhile, 'cause it seemed so refreshing and overdue. We ended up finishing and arriving home after 11pm so we didn't make the 80's party. We cozied up to watch "Father Of The Bride"- one of my favorites. However, we couldn't keep our eyes open and so, turned it off and went to bed around 12:30am. We woke and headed to church, just the two of us as the kids sleepovers weren't going to end until around noon. We came home and I made bacon and eggs for breakfast and we read the paper. When the kids came home, they were T-I-R-E-D, but hung around and played while Keith and I furnished our new deck. Then, he and Justin played some football in the front yard while Kendall and I rode bikes to the playground to play til a storm blew in. The kids got scrubbed down before the storm got too bad and Kendall just about fell asleep at the table during dinner. They were off in dreamland by 6:30pm, YES, 6:30pm!! My kids, who almost never go to bed before 9 were asleep by 6:30. It's 8:30 now and I feel like I've had a month to myself already! Keith is getting ready to serve us each a sample of a wine that he is giving a presentation on in Atlanta this week and then we are going to hop in bed to read. My mom gave me two books (a series) that are so good that Keith started book one when I finished while I am started book two. Hopefully we will get in a few chapters before our eyelids close for the night :)
