Rain and Cooler Weather = reasons to smile

We needed rain. And a break from 90+ degrees. We are getting both! Since Sunday afternoon, we have had our share of rain. Solid, steady rain from 4pm Sunday through Monday evening. Temperatures have been in the low 70's since then! Yesterday was sunny and bright and then it started raining again last night and we are to have continuous rain again through Thursday morning. A wonderful bonus is that soccer was cancelled Monday due to rain, followed by Tuesday's football practice being cancelled due to wet fields. Today's soccer is certain to be cancelled because it will be raining and tomorrows football will most likely be cancelled because, again, fields will be wet. It has been nice to have evenings at home without running all over the place, just for a change. It's felt like a little breather :) Justin has a bye week this Saturday for football and by Sunday, the fields should be dry again for soccer games. It is going to be 64 degrees Sunday! To watch soccer and not be drenched in sweat will be wonderful. For the girls playing in cool weather is going to feel wonderful for them. Loving this week!! Thankful for the rain and even more thankful for the temperatures :-)
