Justin is on a roll. He has made me a proud mom this past week. He is showing great responsibility in middle school thus far. He has had six graded assignments/quizzes that have brought five 100% grades and one 98.9%. He has put forth full effort and has been very particular about his organization. This makes me so happy.
There is a second reason to be proud and that is football. The boy ROCKS. He has been placed at the linebacker and cornerback positions. He is so committed, gives his coaches every ounce of his energy and when the ball is snapped, he hunts the guy down who has the ball and does not stop until that guy is on the ground. I've never seen Justin put forth this kind of effort in any sport. I am blown away. At his last practice, I heard coaches screaming and when I figured out what they were saying, it was "BEAUTIFUL, JUSTIN...THAT WAS BEAUTIFUL".
I've been smiling ever since :)
