a day full of football, some good, some not so good

Justin played his first game of tackle football Saturday! His team looked real good and they won big! Justin played defense (linebacker and cornerback) all of the game and then also went to the offensive line during the 4th quarter. Because the were ahead 32-6, the organization has a mercy rule where the opposing team keeps the ball until they score. This kept Justin on the field a long time. He loved it and loved being a part of a winning team! He got in some good hits and took part in many great tackles. The defense intercepted or caused fumbles that we scored on three times. I've included a couple of game day pictures.
We then came home and hosted our fellow Seminoles that moved here recently to watch the "big" game against Oklahoma. Not so fun. FSU looked so bad and what's worse, they showed very poor sportsmanship when one of our defensive players had three personal fouls in a row and the camera scanned our bench during the third obnoxious and uncalled for PF, to find players laughing. It was shameful. Not a proud day for the fans :( Is it going to be another dreadful, long season as a 'Nole??
At least we had Justin's great game to be happy about.
