Happy Halloween from Cary, NC. What a gorgeous halloween day and evening. 60 degrees with sun today, much chillier this evening. Excited kids. Sleepovers planned. Passing candy out near a bonfire. Fun, fun. Dorothy (aka Kendall) and Clone Trooper (aka Justin) headed out with a billion friends to trick or treat with the OTHER Mrs. Woolery (aka Keith) while I snuggled up to a fire in my neighbors' driveway to pass candy out with Lauren and Julie (can you say one stop shopping?). The kids came home (with a few extras in tow) to sort through and trade candies, ate gosh knows how much before we were on to them, then brushed their teeth and are now having sugar counter-acting snacks such as apples, bananas, cheese and popcorn while watching one of my favorite kid-friendly movies, A Little Princess, before heading off to dreamland. Kendall has Kylie staying over; Justin has Ray staying over. Kendall has a game to cheer for at 9:30am, so it's off to bed very soon. As you look at these photos, keep in mind I have NEVER, EVER, seen my husband dress up in anything at halloween time. A green southern comfort wig came in the mail yesterday and I think it inspired him. Before you know it, he was a full-fleged drag queen and it kinda freaked me out. Glow in the dark hair and toy balls for boobs- in MY bra!! Every adult neighbor that he knew came by commenting on how "pretty" he looked!
Happy Halloween to All!!!
