North Carolina State Cup Champions!!

The girls from Galaxy came out today ready to win it and win it they did!  This weekend, they won both games in 1-0 shut outs.  They can now claim themselves the best U 12 girls challenge team in North Carolina.  They played so well against two teams whom they play every season and haven't beat many times.  The other teams were basically stunned by the performance of our girls.  So very proud of them all :)

The weather couldn't have been nicer if we had ordered it ourselves.  Warm yet not hot.  Beautiful sunshine.  Perfect breeze.  We rarely have a game that us, as parents, are not freezing or sweating.  This spring has been kind to us.

Hard to believe that in August, the team becomes a U13 team, playing on the largest fields with 11 on the field and using regulation size ball!  My how they grow.
