all in a days work...

i just got a call from school that kendall "is having some trouble eating her lunch and would like you to come over, maybe bring her some softer food". (not sure if this is an advantage or disadvantage to living right across the street from school!) i packed her tuna, not a sandwich, just to eat with a fork, mandarin oranges...how much softer can you get? so...i hop back in my vehicle, which i had just gotten out of, not three minutes ago, and zip over to the school with my usual kendall dental supplies thinking her orthodontic wire has popped out AGAIN. i get there, and she needs her loose upper left primary molar extracted, claiming it's just "hanging on by a thread". i get my washcloth that i always bring in the "dental kit", damp, grip the culprit and with one yank all is happy again. kendall trots back off to the lunchroom with nary a goodbye, to finish her tuna and oranges. all in a days work...
