Today, I am married to a 44 year old (or young) man! He sure doesn't look his age and often doesn't act it! A trait he takes pride in...
He is a generous, hard working man; smart, witty, fun-loving and friendly. He is a man who loves his family above all else.
He is dedicated to his job(not many can say they've worked for the same company for 21 years these days), his wife (of almost 15 years) and children (I dare you to find a better father), and his beliefs- be it faith (how can you not love a man who loves God?) , politics (God bless him for being a good 'ol Republican) or saving money (a true passion of his).
Tonight, I took him out to celebrate. I treated him to lamb chops at Ruth's Chris. He insisted on no gifts, but one of the greatest gifts he could receive were his children's voices wishing him a Happy Birthday first thing this morning, AND to top it off, Florida State beating North Carolina in the ACC semifinals basketball tournament; giving him bragging rights right here in NC, a mere 10 miles from UNC's campus.
He is my "biggest child", one who loves attention and loves me. I'm happy to call him mine! I call him by many names: daddy, honey, BOB and Keith..........
