About eight months ago, Justin started asking about being baptized after a discussion in his church small group. We explained what baptism represented, how it was done, what it meant and our own personal experiences with it. He pondered this information, asked some more questions and then decided he would like to be baptized. We attended a class together that was a requirement for children in our church. Today was the big day! After our church service this morning, five children were baptized in the atrium of our church along with a nice group of supporters; some of which were families we know that wanted to encourage Justin in his outward profession of his faith, along with his small group leaders (Sunday school teachers, essentially). As Justin's parents, we were, of course moved by his decision, proud of him and excited for him! Through our tears of joy, we managed a couple of photos. What a joyous day for us :)
