We have a new speed checker (if that's what you call it) across the street from us in attempt to seek cooperation with the newly reduced speed limit on our street of 25mph. This speed checker is located just below the posted speed limit and gives your actual speed as you approach. Leave it to the husband and wife doctors a few doors down to discover that it will clock your speed on foot and not just by car! Soon, a crowd gathered, each wanted a chance to clock their own speed, I have included a photo of said crowd. There was also an audience on my side of the street cheering on each runner. A few decided to try out scooters and such as well. I've also included a photo of Justin running at 11mph, he is blurry, but his speed is clear. All the 8-10 year olds were running at 10-11 mph and the middle school crowd topped speeds of 13mph. So, there you have the latest and greatest news update from Highcroft Drive.
