So, this summer, the kids and I had a deal. They wouldn't ask to be driven all over creation every day AND would do a significant amount of household chores in exchange for some type of fun and adventure on Thursdays, where friends would be welcome to come along.
We have done things like Defy Gravity, a day trip to the beach, Frankies Fun Park. Last week, we visited Tucker Lake. It's about an hour east of here, right off of I40. It's a smallish lake with paddle boats, paddle boards, a knee boarding course, slides, rope swings, water trampolines and climbing structures.
I loaded up a car full of kids and headed over. My plans were to sit in the shade and read, which I did. It was buggy where I sat that made it very distracting for reading, but I enjoyed my book and a good catch-up call with my mom.
The only pics I got were of the girls. The boys didn't cooperate as well. This is Kendall's friend, Micah from soccer.
