B-Day Memories

Turning 44 was a pretty great experience.  It began with no alarm clock!!  That in itself makes for a special day.  I awoke to my favorite cup of coffee (dunkin donuts) that Keith had slipped out to get (so thoughtful).  After some relaxing and quality time with the family, I piddled around accomplishing a few things I felt like doing while Justin did one of his "for hire" lawn mowings.  I attended my offices one year anniversary open house where a mighty little storm blew in, while Keith took Justin to guitar.
We met back at home to a power outage.  We then headed out to dinner at The Melting Pot.  We were amazed at the limbs and trees down due to the 70 MPH winds that had blown during the storm.  We heard power came back just minutes before we got home from dinner at 9:45 pm!  So glad we were out to dinner during the outage!!

Our time at the melting pot was fun, silly, laid back and filled with quality time.  And, to top it all off, not only did I hear from loved ones during the day, I got so many texts and facebook wishes for a happy day...then came home to flowers and a balloon from my dad and Nicci.

It was a nice day feeling loved and cared for...and special.  Going to bed happy (and full!)....
