Hard to believe today was the first day of February. Our temperatures reached 70 degrees today. It's really remarkable. I am not complaining, though I will be sad if I don't see a single flake of snow fall this year. Maybe we could have one three to four inch snow on a Saturday and then go back to the warm weather.
Kendall and I head south on Friday to Charleston, SC for a soccer tournament. I was leery of attending an early February tournament but it looks as if the warm (ish) weather will remain. No complaints.
It's just weird. And slightly abnormal. Makes me concerned for what the summer could feel like. I thought this past summer was brutal. I felt like a dumpling being steamed to death!! We have plans to be in Oregon and San Francisco this July. It will feel good, I can't wait. I'm sure by then it will be a welcome relief :)
