Yesterday, I was proudly telling all who would listen about how quickly I was able to shake my bug. I felt good and my fever had only lasted several hours, where Kendall's was continuous from Monday morning through last night. A cough racked her little body. Not that I would wish her ill by any means, it's just that she usually shakes things off so quick while I'm left sick for days. Yesterday I felt GOOD. I even went and had a crown prep done that I was hoping not to have to change, since I'd already waited three weeks for the appointment.
Well, color me surprised when I felt a sore throat all night while sleeping and then woke today with full blown cold symptoms. Bad Ones. Deep, nasty cough. Head completely stuffed. Voice barely there. And if that weren't bad enough, I spent all day driving around from Cary to Raleigh to Fuquay-Varina to run pointless soccer errands that will now have to be repeated tomorrow because of missing paperwork.
I'm going to bed.
