Today is the first day I resemble a human being again! I showered (my entire family was thankful for this), went to Kendall's indoor game, attended a superbowl tailgate for one hour, oh, and I cooked breakfast! So, while cooking brats tonight (on an indoor grill pan), the house started to get smokey. I attempted to turn on the exhaust fan, which rises from underneath the counter. I don't use it much. Upon rising, it somehow got caught on the stove lid and lifted the stove up WHILE three eyes were turned on, almost tipping the brats and onion & pepper pot onto the floor. Meanwhile, the fire alarms went off due to the smoke. Keith tried to replace the stove back into place and caught his finger underneath. I could see it was hurting, so, like a fool, I put my thumb underneath to help him, he yanks his finger out, trapping my thumb...and now we both have cut/smooshed fingers, a smokey house and fire alarm going off. Kendall runs downstairs naked and dripping wet- she was in the bathtub and thought the house was on fire...
I Love Chaos.....
But all is calm now :)
