the smell of butternut squash roasting :)

My dad told me Nicci made a delicious butternut squash and pear soup on Christmas day. Then, my mom told me about a butternut and apple soup she made over the holidays. Apparently, it got my crave on and since I've never made a soup of that kind, I began searching for a recipe. I found one that sounded simple enough and very yummy and decided I would try it today. It is a curried butternut squash and pear soup. I am nearly done roasting the squash in the oven and the house already smells delicious, I can't imagine how insane it will smell in here once the curry comes into play- it is one of my all time favorite spices! Mmmmm good!
