Well, it's a Monday afternoon and the kids are home from school early. Schools released 2.5 hours early due to the "major southern winter storm" that has yet to arrive. It's supposed to start as snow and then transition to ice, freezing rain, sleet, etc, which should be our biggest problem this time around. Praying we don't lose power!
Though I've lost track, I believe there are now 11 kids in the house. Justin turned the first three away, telling them he had to finish his language arts project...so, they waited on the front porch. It's 30 degrees outside!! When there were five boys on the front porch, we agreed Justin could invite them in for a couple of hours and then get back to his project a bit later.
I've taken chili leftovers out of the feezer to thaw. The fireplace is on. We are kinda excited about the national championship game that comes on tonight. Good night to be snowed in. Or not.
