We are having very warm, sunny weather this weekend. Yesterday, we went boating! I can't believe it, I don't think we've ever gone out this early in the year (unless we went all bundled up). But, we were in swimsuits, it was HOT, not a cloud in the sky. When we stopped, we were sweating. When we were moving, it was perfect. But, the water was still way to chilly to swim in. It was a wonderful day, great family time. We all got a little head start on our summer tans, too :)
Today, the pollen on the pine trees are bursting and the air is a hazy yellow-green. Everything outdoors is getting a fine coat of pollen. I do not enjoy this time very much. Everyone wants to sit outside but you can't unless you wash off all the furniture (this could be done daily as a new coating settles every day) or stand up to find your backside covered in pollen. Always looks nice on a pair of dark colored capris!!
