Yesterday was one of those marathon days. My dad wondered how we'd be able to get it all done. It had to go just precisely as planned to work...and it did.
Justin had football team photos at 11.
Kendall had a soccer game that started at 11:15.
We split up. Keith took Justin, I took Kendall. We were to meet up at the soccer field if photos went as scheduled. Because I needed to leave soccer early in order to make it to my (desperately over due and needed) hair appointment at 12:30. The boys made their way to us before noon. All was great. I cut out a few minutes early to get across town for my appointment. (whew)
I sat down and inquired as to how long my appoinment might last. Two and a half hours to two and three quarters hours. Yikes. We are due to meet another family at the boat dock at 3 sharp. I called Keith to give the heads up that he might have to come to me, switch cars and have me arrive late, then have them come back to the dock to pick me up. But, alas, my hair appointment went smoothly and I was out a half hour early. I got to stop by home and change into my swimsuit (rather than changing in my van) and ride in one car with the rest of my family to the lake. Thankfully, I packed our cooler before we ever went anywhere to start the day :-)
We had the most wonderful time on the lake- late afternoon, refreshing water, I even tubed with Justin (a wild ride- I'm sore today- but so much fun); arriving back to shore at sunset. Ahhhh.
Thankfully, today was a day with NOTHING on the agenda other than church. We've played the wii, relaxed, had dinner on the deck. After 90 + temps for 2 weeks, we are in for a treat... a week of 70-ish temps. Doesn't that sound wonderful?!

Wow, that's a busy day. Post a picture of your new do! I desperately need one too--I burned a chunk of my hair off w/ the flat iron (power surge?) three weeks ago and have really let myself go since then. It's not cute. You've inspired me to make an appointment tomorrow!
