We got six inches

As the snow tapered off and the skies brightened just a bit, I went out to our deck to take this photo of the snow pile on the tabletop of our furniture. We officially received six inches of snow in our neighborhood. What a day! Not only did we wake to snow, but it continued to snow until about 2pm, so we got to enjoy watching it fall. The kids have spent no less than six hours out playing in it, and after waking at 5am, I can imagine they'll completely pass out by 7 this evening! You won't hear me whine about snow again on this blog for a good while. It doesn't snow that often in NC, but to get this treat of six inches today will keep a smile on my face for a good, long time!
