Brrrrrrr
It is 39 degrees at 5:45 on a Tuesday. Can you believe that? In November? It hasn't cooled off to these temperatures before mid-January since we've lived here. It was 42 degrees at our warmest point today AND patches of little snow showers blew through all afternoon. The kids told me that at school, when a little snow shower would start, they got to go outside to check it out...a highlight of their day. Maybe this means we will get a measurable snow this winter so the kids can sled and build a snowman? I have high hopes for this winter actually feeling like winter!

Hey, I've been meaning to email you or post a comment ever since your Avon walk but seem to be running far, far behind as usual. So first: I am so proud of you for finishing that walk! Really, wow. It sounded pretty grueling. I think it's so wonderful that you took the time and put forth the effort to be a part of such a wonderful movement for good. I was thinking of you all weekend long while you were walking, and I hope you know how proud I am to call you my sister!
I'm glad you're having some cozy weather. I heard from my neighbor that we might get snow on Thanksgiving! I love winter weather. By the way, those leaves are amazing! Love you!
