A Special Anniversary Dinner

Keith's and my 14 year wedding anniversary is Tuesday, November 25. Since we will be starting our drive to Ohio that afternoon and evening for Thanksgiving, we decided to celebrate last night with a night out. I was itching to try Heron's, a five star restaurant at the Umstead Hotel here in Cary, because it is consistently given rave reviews. We decided to try something from each course to get the full experience, so we had:
Seared Diver Scallops with leeks, Pumpkin Bisque, Camembert and Apple Salad, then Keith had lobster and I ordered the filet to share with him. It was wonderful, the service was very attentive- we had a waiter and an assistant waiter. They gave us a copy of the menu with
"Happy 14th Anniversary Mrs. & Mr. Woolery! November 21st, 2008" and it was signed by the sous chef and staff who served us. We also got the most romantic table in the restuaurant!
It was a wonderful night out for two!
