We took our brownie troop on another camping trip today. We headed to Falls Lake State Park, but stopped at a horse farm for a one hour horseback ride on the way. This photo is after our time on the horses. We then had a picnic lunch before heading to the campground. I have declared myself a NON brownie camper- because apparently I don't sleep when tent camping. Four times in three years and didn't sleep a wink any of them...it just makes for an unpleasant time for me. Kendall opted out of staying all night as well. She really wanted to, but couldn't make the commitment, but I really think she'll do it next time. It was cute, all the girls came and gave her a HUGE group hug when we left at dark. I must say, it felt awesome to come home and shower tonight!! I found two ticks on Kendall. Only her daddy could get them out for her (she feels he better knows how to than I). In addition to that, I think she's got some poison ivy on her inner elbow area. Just what we need after a week of severe hives with Justin. We are like a pharmacy in our house; creams, potions, and antihistamines OH MY. I'll post some campground photos another time, as it's almost 11pm and I'd like to rest well before church tomorrow. Sleep tight, all.
