Justin's team finally got to have their first game, after a week delay due to wet fields. Justin was pleased to be a starter today and looked so big on the field and in his pads! We were warned this would be a tough game...the team they played is known to have a very strong program. It wasn't a win, but it wasn't a shutout either and it feels so good (for Justin as well as us as parents) to have that first game out of the way... First game jitters, you know?
The picture with me looking like I am trying to eat Justin is from lunch on Sunday after church. I have no idea why I put it in where it is...but, I can't seem to change it. Keith was trying to take a picture of us and Justin kept leaning out of the photo just as the picture was exposing, so by this time, I was trying to hold him in place. Frustrating and hilarious at the same time :)
