it was brought to my attention this afternoon that kendall scored two goals during the actual game yesterday. we saw a very close goal, but due to the slanting of the field, thought it was not counted as a goal. it was. this means, she scored two of the six in the game and was the second leading scorer yesterday, topped only by an 8th grader who scored three.
i continue to be amazed by my daughter! W.O.W. !!!
morning announcements at school included the results of yesterday's games (volleyball and soccer, both wins). they also named players with goals for the soccer game. kendall received congrats during the entire day both at school and at the local yogurt shop that hundreds of middle schoolers walk to on early release days. she received hugs from teammates. she said she felt famous!
how cool is that? can't imagine much topping that on a friday afternoon!
