Feeding The 'Hood Tonight....

It's like summer came early. I love it! Justin and his usual group of buddies. Kendall & a friend from soccer, joining us for Friday night pizza. Impromptu as usual, but always welcome :)

Kendall's friend was going to join us for boating tomorrow morning. When she had a death in the family and her mom needed to go to Charlotte overnight, she came to stay with us as her mom didn't want her to attend the funeral. Kendall had her school spring carnival this evening, so Ella went with her. They jumped in the bounce houses, bought paper flowers, won school water bottles and cups, participated in(and won) the cake walk, and dunked Kendall's teacher (a great joy as we are not fond of her 5th grade teacher!). Oh, and they got their faces painted- thus the "makeup" in the photo.

Meanwhile, Justin headed to the pool with some friends, they came back here, multiplied in number...some stayed for pizza, some may stay all night...and some will probably boat with us in the morning.

This after he got to play hookie from school today. Plans were for him to go to school late because he was asked to participate in his orthodontists office's "promotional video" this morning. It ran later than expected because the camera crew had a video camera fall and break. By the time we were done (and I ended up being videoed without knowing I would be until the moment of taping), Justin had lunch and electives left...so we voted he miss the day altogether. If you've received requests to "like" or comment on his photo at Dr. Bo's, it is because he became aware of a contest to win an ipad that goes through the end of June. Spread the word...the more "likes" or comments he gets, the better his chances of winning.

All this while Keith is away for the evening....but he will be back bright and early for some Saturday morning boating. I can't believe next week is Justin's last week of 6th grade!! Wow, did the year go by fast....
