A Beautiful Day For A Memorial Service

After church services at my grandparents former church.
Justin & Kendall at their first funeral. The cemetery was
as gorgeous as a cemetery can be. Beautiful fall leaves.
Keith caught me wiping my nose :) During the service.

Uncle David played the guitar as we sang Amazing Grace.

Many friends of my grandparents heard about the memorial
and came to the service. Gram enjoyed seeing all these dear,
old friends!
Kendall helped set up the flowers and pictures. Look how
young my gramps looks in the photo on the right!!!
Uncle David made this glass box for the ashes to go in to.

The preacher at their church, who did the memorial, came
to church pool parties at my grandparents house while growing
up.
Looking at my brother, Shane's grave marker after the
memorial service.
My mom, gram, and Uncle David.
Isn't this tree gorgeous? Many in the cemetery had this
wonderful color!
Justin & Kendall with Great-Grandma...saying goodbye.

Me & Gram after the service was over.

A beautiful autumn day. A very touching service for my Uncle Don and Gramps. It was wonderful to be back in my hometown (even though for such a short time). Wish the circumstances could've been happier, but it was nice to see everyone and acknowledge the passing of two wonderful men.
