Keith has caused me an addiction: to euchre. It is a card game he has played since who knows when, I do know he played in college and probably before then. There is a sizable group in our neighborhood that play monthly. We've played with them recently. Last night, we had two couples over who play as well as another couple who wanted to learn the game. We had so much fun, and, the other couple caught on quickly, making it fun for all. We also found out that one of our guests hadn't told us it was her birthday. Her husband brought a cake, and we had a small celebration (we even found a leftover new years hat to put on her!). We played cards til almost midnight. Justin and Kendall each invited a friend to come over (their parents were here playing), and they were practically comatose when everyone left at 12:30 and they could finally go to bed. We all slept in this morning though, so made up for some of that lack of sleep. Can't wait til next time :-)
