Another (miniature) vacation- this time for the kids

I got a call from my neighbor Monday morning. She and another neighbor (all on our "track 3" schedule) thought it might be fun to take the kids to the Great Wolf Lodge since all three husbands were traveling this week. Even though we just got back from Biloxi, the kids hadn't gone anywhere and if we went, there would be five kids and boy, what fun they would have together. So we decided that would be a great idea. Kendall and Ava could pal around while Justin, Ray and Owen, who are all in the same class, would have a great time together. As a bonus, Robin, Julie and I would have lots of time to chat and read since our kids were all occupying each other. It worked out well; we had two rooms- across the hall from one another. The kids wore themselves out climbing all those stairs to the slides. Kendall and Ava must've been on the howling tornado at least 50 times over the course of two days, no exaggeration! When they weren't in the water, they played magi quest or spent time in the arcade. Being that most kids were in school, we really had the place to ourselves. What a great idea! Loved it, can't wait to do it again. For the ages of our kids, it is a great value and perfect entertainment for an overnight stay. The photo is of five water-logged children, most of whom fell asleep during the two hour ride home!
