Quite a week and it's only Wednesday :/

Being exhausted from allergies in full swing and working the first two days of the week is one kinda tired.  Add in a few exciting events that tinker with stress levels and/or emotions brings it all to another level.

It's just now Wednesday night.  Feels like it should be the weekend by now.  Right now, our Sunday through Wednesday's are the crazy days and things do slow down from here on out.  Trying to be three places at almost the same time is not my favorite.  This spring has found Justin's lacrosse games and Kendall's soccer practices to overlap big time.  It's no fun.  Plus we have a track meet thrown in on Tuesday afternoons.

I'm not the one doing the soccering, lacrossing or running, so I have it easiest.

We had our water heater bust on us yesterday evening :(  We were all nice and dirty too.  We still have no repair so I got to go shower at the neighbors house this afternoon.  After today's soccer and lacrosse, the kids shipped off to yet another neighbors for showers.  Never a dull moment!

Justin had a great game tonight, even though his team is still looking for that first victory.  They are definitely improving week by week.  Fun to watch!  Not sure if it's possible, but I swear he is even more handsome since turning 14.  Love that guy :)

Kendall had a track meet last night.  She came in first place in 2 of her 3 races (the 60 and 100 meters)...I received the most lovely email from her coach this afternoon informing me that she now holds the school record for the 100 meter girls race!!!  Her coach said that to hold this record as a 7th grader is rare and amazing and that she was very proud of her.  Her name will be on the announcements at school tomorrow (Kendall doesn't know) where they will proclaim her the record holder for that race.  She continues to amaze me with her drive and gifts.

So, while feeling down and out last night with no water and a very expensive repair looming (third in 2013 by the way) after just having mailed a gi-normous tax bill for the second year in a row....today God has reminded me how very blessed we are to have each other, love, health, faith and a lovely place to live.  Even if with it comes huge repairs that really stink and are coming too often or a gas tank that won't stay full because of busy kids.

It boils down to...it's all good :)
