Keith brings back the Mexican bug :(

Keith returned Sunday late afternoon from a few work days in Mexico.  He came home with a cold.  By Tuesday, Justin and I came home from school and work respectively, complaining of identical symptoms of very sore throats.  The soreness increased through Wednesday and by last night, I almost preferred drooling to swallowing.  No fevers, so Justin trooped through the school day while I got to be at home because it wasn't a work day for me.  I didn't get dressed til time for Kendall's soccer game.  She texted me through the day talking of a sore throat.  Her hustle wasn't quite there during the game as it usually is.  She now is upstairs coughing in her sleep.  Justin is mildly better.  I can swallow today.  Keith has a stuffy nose now.  Thankful it's the end of the week.  Thankful for a mild schedule this weekend.  We are all a lil' run down.  The rest will do us good.  I made a hearty kale and bean soup for dinner along with homemade potato bread.  This will be the first Sunday in many weeks that our ONLY commitment is church.  Breathing a sigh of relief and praying for restful days and less sore throats in the coming days...so that we quickly recover from this "mexican bug" Keith brought home to us.  Nice of him to share :)

Yikes, it sounds like no fun. I hope you guys all mend quickly. Did I ever tell you that one of our friends here has a brother who works for Brown F. in a position similar to Keith's? I believe he heads up the Mexican region, so maybe Keith spent some time with him? Think his name is Randy McCann. Anyway... Have a restful weekend!
