This is our big week. Birthdays for my boys. We celebrated Keith turning 46 yesterday with a family dinner and cake. We will do the same for Justin today. He got to pick tonight's menu and has requested bean burritos and corn. Just like his dad, he wants chocolate cake with caramel icing. Last year, I got smart and made one cake recipe, baked in two round cake pans, then use one cake round for Keith's birthday and the second for Justin's birthday. That way, they each get their own fresh cake, just a smaller version. It's plenty of cake for one day :) I will be whipping up another batch of icing today though. I also got up extra early (which is hard in this time change, I do not enjoy waking up in the dark!), and made him biscuits and gravy. We haven't had that in a long time.
I can't believe my Justin is twelve years old.... how is it that twelve years have gone by? I can't believe I have a 46 year old husband. That is hard to believe because not only does he not look 46, he certainly doesn't act 46!!!
